People love the scallops with its familiar shape and spectacular colors. "Coquilles St. Jacques" is a favorite recipe to be served in this shell. The Scallop shell is very versatile with its shape being flat enough to use as a serving plate for things like salads or veggies and just deep enough to bake and serve a couple of fish filets with a creamy sauce. As with all our pottery, the scallop shell is more than an art object of beauty, it's very functional as well. To store the scallop shells, just stack them on top of each other - they are very durable.
